The E-type was introduced in Europe on 15 March 1961 at the Geneva Motor Show. Enzo Ferrari called it the most beautiful car ever when it was shown for the first time. The Series 1 got a 3.8 liter 6 inline engine that came from the XK150. In 1964 the engine capacity was increased to 4.2 liter. The Series 1 got a top speed of 241 km/h. Compared to the 3.8 L version, the 4.2 L version had more comfortable seats, improved brakes and electronics and Synchromesh on first gear.
This car comes from California. The body has already been restored and painted. We are now working on the mechanical parts and the assembly. The car will be ready by late 2021.
